Bequia Island Location

Just 100 miles west of Barbados Bequia is easily accessible from Europe and the US with regular inter-island connections.
• 60 miles from Saint Lucia
• 8 miles from Saint Vincent
• 50 minute flight from Barbados

Beachfront

Park Bay House is a stunning beachfront villa, private yet accessible. Occupying the headland of park Bay with over 400 feet of ocean frontage the properties unobstructed views will never be compromised.

Fresh and Breezy this is a refreshing natural beach, set in a palm and fruit trees. Mountain footpaths lead over the headlands to Bequia's wild and natural uninhabited northern hills. Park Bay is also home to the Bequia Turtle Sanctuary.

Protected Beach and Great Snorkelling

Family-friendly Park Beach has sandy tide pools and calm waters perfect for children. Steps from the front door is the expanse of Park Bay, with calm water deep enough to swim but shallow enough to wade around the large sandy areas, and great snorkelling. A few minutes walk away is picturesque Industry Bay, with its stunning crescent beach, wooded headlands and fine dining at the fashionable Sugar Reef Boutique restaurant.

Endless Reef and Ocean

Right in front of the house the ocean waves are calmed by the encircling reef and the neighbouring Grenadine Islands dot the horizon. The bay is a calmer protected stretch of water giving you the gentle ambiance of a west coast setting with the breeze and sparkle of the east coast.

Bordered by Natural Undeveloped Land

Right in front of the house the water laps on the golden sand and bedrock. To the rear the grounds boarder hundreds of acres of natural land with no formal plans for further development in the near future.

Very Safe for Children Playing and Swimming

The current owners have had children during their ownership and the children were originally around 3 years old; purchasing specifically for the beachfront location. It is an interesting beach with the rock pools as well as sand - so lots to interest a child and safe due to the reef which reduces the waves keeping it calm and protected.

Perfect for Small Boat Access

In The Bay we understand there is a small channel in the reef enabling a boat to enter into the protected area within the reef. A mooring could be put in the bay, a modest dock or a simple boat launch could be put in place on the beach if you wish - so you could pull a dingy up easily. This all depends on the style of boating you wish for; a small fishing vessel would be possible which could be used for exploring the local islands and waters. A trip to Mustique is straight forward from Park Bay House by Boat for example. The original owners of the property used to travel by boat over from Mustique.

The depth in the reef would influence the type of vessels you could use here. The local Sailing Guide sketch while clearly showing not for yachts would indicate that you could have boat access.
